"Quarantine our thoughts" - wk1 w/ Nate Webb
How do we quarantine our thoughts? Don't know? So many of us are locked up in our homes. Prisoners of our minds during a global pandemic. Some of us don't even know what "pandemic" means but we use it which fear laced ease. It is a disease that is prevalent throughout a country or the the world. While doctors and scientists are looking, searching, praying for a cure to save our bodies... We need to search for a cure to save our minds. Join my guest, Nate Webb (IG: natewebb_c.p.t), and I as we give you some tools to help you Quarantine your thoughts.
Just a few things to help:
- Don't letting your mind stay on an unhealthy subject
- Change the channel. There's got to be something better to watch our feed our hearts and minds
- Wake up! Stop sleeping all day, everyday. Make a schedule. Meal prep: Plan your meals and supplies for those meals
- Get up! Exercise. Create and finish our projects
- Clean up! Our homes, thoughts, diets, relationships with our children and others
- Get ready for life after quarantine. Plan your business, idea, write your book, blog, journal, pray
- Stay ready: Practice your skill, gift, and/or talent. There will be a life after COVID-19 and we need to be ready for it now, not getting ready for it then when it comes. We don't want to be further behind those who've stayed ready and gotten better by taking advantage of their time.
- Taking advantage of the time you've been given or have.
- Get to know you. What you like/dislike about yourself
- Ask God how he speaks to you
- Ask God what he thinks about you
- Stay connected. We need community. We need people. We need each other.
